I narrowly escaped death on Ilaro/Papalanto Road at Oke-Iganmu valley last Sunday on my way back to Ogbomoso. Dangote trailer was d messenger of death. With dat experience, I can now appreciate d danger my people are facing on that road everyday. Yes, d road is narrow for the heavy duty vehicles plying it but the dangerous driving habit of d Dangote drivers should be checked too. The drivers of Sagamite company which is another heavy user of d road are cautious, meticulous nd humane. They exhibit high level of professionalism in dia business. I think FRSC should be more visible on dat road while Dangote drivers should be forced to go for more training to safe life on dat road.
