I need a little help from the Facebook community. Last night my step-mom was burgled in a retirement park in Balsall Common while she was out. An I-Pad, a large amount of cash and thousands of pounds worth of jewelry was stolen along with a pink handbag. Being recently widowed shes devastated and feels unsafe in her own home. Earlier on that day an Eastern European couple were seen snooping around the park (very rare, its off road and out of the way) and also went door to door asking for a £2 donation. This was For the childrens school but when challenged they couldnt name a single local school. I dont believe this is a coincidence and am certain these people were just checking out their targets. If youre in Coventry (particularly Tile Hill/Eastern Green area) or Solihull, please share this around. If you get people knocking on the door with the same line then report them to West Midlands Police and ensure youre keeping doors and windows locked while remaining vigilant. If anyone has any info on these guys or comes across the stuff being sold please let me know. It would mean the world to her to get the jewelry back. Your sharing is much appreciated :)
