I need advice on the estimated value of my 66 289 w/ 43,688 actual miles--I purchased it from 2nd owner in 06, navy veteran that had just sunk over $13,000 in ground-up restoration; He had it approx.4-5yrs and had put 4,000K while doing the work..the original owner was either cop or fireman that ordered it new in Honolulu,a san jose vehicle. All new interior, but the basecoat/clearcoat mustve been his 1st, since the cracking doesnt appear professional. I havent had any money for new paint job and the 8years Ive had it, its been in bldg. collecting dust(only 700 miles in 8 yrs.) NO rust, just a bit of peeling and few nicks here n there. Drivers door undoubtedly was replaced from San Jose orig.(diff.vin) . Engine vin behind starter shows match w/ fender vin; and stamped on head area shows March67 install. all info from my mechanic, I think he kept the #s. Any offers welcome above $8500(my actual investment). thanks for input...Im in Orlando,Fl.
