I need advise from my dog loving friends! Has anyone had multiple dogs and then lost the pack leader? Tracy was our pack leader, there was no question about it. When she passed a month ago, it almost seemed as though our other dogs didnt notice and just went about business as usual. The past week or 2, its been terrible at our house. It started with Pyper (our Chihuahua and also now the oldest at 11) trying to be the fun police and barking at all the dogs when they would play. Then it became daily fights between Honey and Jesse with Franklyn stepping in on Honeys side and Benson stepping in on Jess side. Then it turned to Franklyn and Benson getting into a barking match. And just a few minutes ago I had to break up a fight between all 5 of the dogs. Is this normal??? Any advise would be welcome.
