I need help! Anyone out there uses FINAL CUT PRO X, or familiar with MacBook Pro laptops?! Ive been dealing with this issue for the past 2-3 months. Even before the Yosemite Operating System upgrade. Every time I add an effect such as text, color correction, or just anything that would involve some type of rendering in FCPX would crash my whole computer. I dont have this problem on Final Cut Pro 7, though. I got the program through my work study job early this year and never faced any problems until recently. Ive installed some new ram but that did not completely relieve the problem. I need some advice here. Should I just purchase my own Final Cut Pro. My latest hard drive is 2 years old..
