I need prayer Facebook friends and family...Ive been having lots of back pain related to braking my back in the 9th grade. This brake is unrelated to my being paralyzed post gunshot to the neck when I was 21. My hope for payer is 2 fold. That the Lord would heal me of this pain or help the docs figure out remedies that dont include pain meds. The second request is an MRI tomorrow 4pm. The last 2 MRIs have been fairly traumatic, producing all kinds of fearful thoughs. They do much prep. to ensure no metal is in my body, that Ive had no recent lumbar or corroded surgery. That my wheelchair cant enter the MRI room due to its strong magnetic pull. It would apparently get stuck to the machine. So then they will lock my arms and head down to this table and place me in the tube. Now the 3 things I use for independence are taken/rendered inoperable. .. my wheelchair, my arms and my head. The machine produces a loud noise and lots of physical reactions. Some are possibly not real but in my mind. Others are obvious like spasms, difficult breathing. The rest is unexplainable. Fear is not of the Lord for He created us with a sound mind. I dont fear many things on this Earth. However this experience has proven to produce overwhelming fear for me. The process is 1.5 hours or so. I realize the option to medicated with zanex but am opting not to. I did take the open tube option but it was just about as bad last time. If you are a believer in Jesus and you believe in His power today, Please pray to the God of Heaven, according to His riches and glory, that I have peace and not fear during this MRI. I want to see Gods people and their prayers having victory in Jesus and Im starting with me. Amen?
