I need this stated... If i tell you that I do not want to text you or become close again, that is NOT me being mean. That is me simply telling you that what happened to end our friendship last time showed me your colors and my colors do not match. If I tell you this but still talk to you that means that I do NOT have a problem with you and an aquaintanceship is the relationship we have. If I speak to you after the drama we had but tell you I do NOT want any type of friendship with you, that is not me being petty. That is me saying, you kept the drama going for to damn long last time and I refuse to put myself back in that situation but I will still treat you respectfully because I am 24 not 4. I am not being petty, I am being real. There is no need for you to tell people we are friends and for me to tell those same people we are not then you think Im two faced. I am telling YOU first so you know first. If you act a fool in front of my child, we will not be coming back over But that does not mean we are not friends. How you act after hearing that we will not be coming over because of the situation that happened (I.e you and your significant other screaming and yelling, you fighting your room mate, you smoking pot, anything my child does not need to be around) will determine if we are friends or not. I am a mother first, friend second. Always. I am far from petty and I needed this said for arguments sake.
