I need to ask for some help. If you could all send just a little bit of love with your super charged heart Love Laserbeams to my dear Uncle Gregory Westford, that would be much appreciated. He has end stage liver disease, has taken a turn for the worse, and I am not sure how long hell be with us. I just want him to feel some serious love and light coming from the collective before he goes. Help ease his pain and discomfort. Help settle his spirit and his mind. Let his passing, when it does come, be surrounded by the love we all have for him. Greg has been like a second father to me. He is smart and funnly, a little crass, sarcastic and passionate. Hes a lover of nature and hiking and photographing the things us mere mortals tend to miss. He is a Scorpio with wild blue eyes. His is a musician who once rocked out on stages as well as in churches, bringing 80s metal to the masses. He is also a Vet, having served in the Navy, and he is a recent retiree of Boeing. Hes kind of a badass who I love dearly..and will miss terribly. For the past couple months, I have gone to visit him 2-3 times a week; helping out around the house, bringing him groceries or, most often, just hanging with him, waxing nostalgic about the good ol days. Its been heartbreaking seeing him deteriorate over time. This man who was once strong and loud and wild...now weak and scared and frail. Its been awful seeing him so sick, and yet I am honored to have been there for him these past few months, reminding him that he was not alone and reassuring him that I will always hold on to that strong, loud, wild man. So, please, pray for him, or send him light...whatever it is you choose to do... He needs it, I will forever appreciate your effort. And, one more thing- please hug your loved ones. Tell people you love them and appreciate them. Spend time with friends and family. Take advantage of the time you have now...because you may suddenly be out of time.
