I need to ensure some people understand I am not a veteran. My time in the Army was cut short. 3 months into OSUT does not qualify me for veterans status, and I would not accept it if it did. While some say taking the oath and going should, I just do not see it that way. I did indeed get the green weenie. Some may be confused because of the work I do, but I assure you I am not a veteran. Today I thank all of those veterans who deployed, many multiple times to hot zones around the world. You and your families took on hardships which deserve this Countrys respect. My younger brother has 2 deployments under his belt so I know what that is like, the wondering from a brothers prospective. To all those including you contractors still kicking up dust somewhere, keep your head up, and down range.
