I need to get better about letting you guys know when I have a podcast up. Self promotion is, surprisingly, one of my weak points. So here is the latest episode of Matt Walsh OnDemand. Its not long (by my standards) but it discusses an important issue. You may have heard that Obama unveiled a plan this week to provide free community college tuition to everyone. FREE COLLEGE FOR EVERYONE! HOORAY! Only, unfortunately, nothing is free, least of all free government initiatives. Tax payers will foot the bill for this, to the tune of at least 60 billion dollars in the short term. And why? To buy something thats already surprisingly cheap. Community college costs, on average, about 3,300 dollars a year. Thats like 60 bucks a week. Were going to spend billions to give something that most everyone can already afford. And if they cant afford it, there are already Pell Grants in place to help them out. This is stupid. Its a stupid idea. Just like every progressive idea. But thats not the worst part.
