I need to post some useful information about a shop in Sheldon, Birmingham. They claim to be double glazing specialists that supply windows, doors, conservatories and the furniture that go with the above. My best friend was in need of handle to replace a broken one and I brought a sample to show them.The owner of the shop dug round an old box of used handles and told me the price was £35....at that time I thought it was new... Anyway to cut a long story short I was fiddled....there was only one key and no screws and it was not in a sealed pack. When my friend saw it she knew it was not suitable so we brought it back and requested our money back but he said he didnt have any cash on him... Since then I have been battling to get the cash back and finally got it back today.... The moral of this story is ...do some research .... The same handle I got from B. & Q for £ 7.98...... This business has got a very smart Web Site which Im sure will entice the innocent purchaser.... Especially if you are two females who dont know an awful lot about double glazing handles... The shop is titled Windows etc but the trading name is ...1st 4 Home Improvements and they are situated at Cranes Park Road........
