I need to share what my good friend and fellow Jesus Freak Levi Daniel Vincent shared with me today in an email. THIS IS THE POWER OF LOVE ON DISPLAY!!! Thank you Levi! for being RADICALLY IN LOVE WITH A MAN!!! His name is JESUS! Please take time to read and soak in what God is doing through His servants..... Hey Family and Friends, I wanted to share a few fun testimonies from the past couple weeks from our treasure hunts. Pictured in the center below is Britney Fix and Zaxxson Nation. We went out as a team on one of our Sunday afternoon treasure hunt. We went to Big Lots and I remember having the clues blond hair and zebra. Britney and I both felt drawn to this one group of people across the store. Sure enough right where we stopped them there was a zebra pillow. We shared with them that we were out and about sharing the love of Jesus and offered prayer and they were happy to pray with us. As we finished up praying I noticed the tears in one of the young ladies eyes. I believe she was just really touched to know that God had led us to her. She was encountering the love of Jesus. This is what I look for and love as we go out. I look to see how people are responding to the presence of Jesus. I didnt pry and poke to see what was going on and I didnt try to make anything else happen with this encounter. We brought the presence of Jesus with us and I am trusting that the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit in this situation was all that was needed. It is so fun to love people and let the Holy Spirit have His way!! As we left there we walked down the strip and Britney noticed a lady wearing a football jersey. The name on the jersey matched a name she had written down on her treasure map. The lady walked into a bar. I went into the bar and found the lady sitting with her friends at a table. I explained that I was with a group from our church and we are going around town praying with people and we felt led to her. She immediately began to cry and said, Oh i need prayer! Her friends encouraged her to receive prayer from us. She stepped outside with us and it turned out her name was also on our treasure map. She told us of her need for help in relationships and we were able to pray for her! All the while Zaxxson was ministering to an old aquaintance from highschool a few feet from us! God is so good!! Zaxxson and Britney really made this encounter possible by stepping out of their comfort zones and taking the love of Jesus to the streets! I am so thankful for those that come out with me to make these outreaches possible! Come and join me soon for another love encounter with God!! More testimonies coming soon!
