I need to thank everyone who wished me happy birthday, Im in awe at times of the amazing people I have associated myself with during my life. thank each and every one of you for seeing something in me that made you stick with me. as for my retirement, I had the opportunity to apply for the job of schoolbus driver 25 yrs ago. little did I know at that time it would be the job I would ultimately retire from. weve had some rough years at Kenton transportation but we all managed to keep it together and stand with each other. Ill never forget the year we picketed in the cold pouring rain(cant remember what it was we were picketing FOR but whatever it was we were all out there together) solidarity, thats what it was all about. weve also had some very good years and good times. weve all became parents and grandparents, weve watched each others children grow, even if it was just sharing stories about them around the table in the morning before going out on our runs. Ive formed some lifelong friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life, Ill still be up early but the good thing is I wont have to leave the house before dawn. til I see you again, we can find each other on facebook...
