I needed a low-impact workout this weekend - my body was just a little tired from running & jumping around :) Here are 2 moves from my workout! I am nowhere close to doing these like the pros.... but you should have seen me this summer when I first started! I love recording myself so I can check out my form. Here is what I would tell myself: 1) In my side plank, I need to lower my hip so my body is more straight. I know the more that I strengthen my core, the easier I can do this! 2) Also in my side plank, my arm is out too far! Yikes! I need to have it directly underneath my shoulder. 3) In my downward dog split - I need to get my leg up higher and straighter. I try really hard at this :) 4) As I get stronger, I am going to want to move my hands and feet closer together when I do my crouching pushup. This will allow me to put more weight on my upper body & really work those tris!! You guys can use these tips too!! Try to record yourself or find a mirror during your next workout so you can check your form!
