I needed several repairs to my camera (broken battery door and a broken lock mechanism that would not allow the memory card to open) and sent it to United Camera (UnitedCamera). Because of the integrated nature of these parts, the back and side of the camera needed replacement. Because the camera is eight years old and a less common model, they did not have parts in inventory and had to order them. When the parts did not come in as soon as expected, United voluntarily called me to let me know about it and to assure that all was still on track. The camera is back, working fine. Besides the two repairs, the sensor was cleaned, the entire camera was giving a cleaning and all functions including focusing and zoom checked and adjusted if needed. My initial calls of inquiry and all follow up email queries were quickly and courteously cared for. The total coast of repairs, cleanings, and shipping both ways (using their pre-payed label) was $139, which seems very reasonable. Will use them again if I ever need to.
