I needed to buy four small plain white net curtains last week and went into that big shop near the fish market called Actif Perde (Brillant). After my enquiry I left the shop laughing my head off - they asked for 800 tl hahahaha! So I went round the corner into Carsi Caddesi the one way street turned left to Prestij Perde and made same enquiry. Result was 160 tl and ready for the next day. They were beautifully made with care and on time. Since then I have heard a few stories about that first shop and think it is a place to avoid unless you have more money than sense.
