I needed to get out of the house and DO something so I took a drive up toward Talladega. On some back roads up that way I found three very interesting but old cemeteries. Planning to go back there tomorrow if the sun is shining and check them out further. I found the grave of a Seminole Indian..... the headstone read Phillip Two Rivers. His grave is in the Riser Family Cemetery at Risers Chapel Church. He was born around the time of the "Civil War" and it was written on his grave stone that he was a Seminole Indian. No other information except the inscription, In Loving Memory." He must be an ancestor to some of the Riser family that is buried there. In all my days of walking through cemeteries this is the first time I have found anything like this. Someone had placed flowers on his grave and a figurine of a small dog. R.I.P. Phillip Two Rivers.
