I needed to share this with all of you who remember me. My life, until a little over 5 years ago, has been an example to remember. It has been an exact opposite of the way a life should be lived and should serve as an example so as to warn people. I have lived most of my life chasing every lust that the flesh had to offer and in opposition to Gods will and word. God allowed me to build a life on my own self-centered terms. He also allowed me to reap the rewards of the seeds I had sown. Galatians 6:7-8 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Finally, a little over 5 years ago, I came to myself (Luke 15:17) in my self-made hog pen. The Mighty God, my Savior, had mercy on me and allowed me to become one of his. I dont know why. But I am thankful for his mercy and long suffering with me. The only reason that my insufficiently minute human understanding can think of is that He wanted my previous life to be an example of how NOT to live. And show how righteous His Word is! God is love, but He is also a just and righteous God. We must surrender our will to His in order to have a fruitful life. I will praise His Wonderful Name the rest of my days. Now I am living proof of his life changing Power and Mercy!
