I never analyze my writing. I never think about how many POVs it should have, what tense it should be in, what percentage of each element such as SF, romance etc. I never plot or plan. My head fills up with words and I write them down. I do worry about whats right and wrong after the fact. I worry that I should be using this piece of software or that three act system or plot arcs or whatever. I worry that not using them makes me a bad author. But when I think hard about why I write, all the other stuff stops being important because merely the act of putting down the words is what makes me happy. I may never be a great writer. Maybe Im not even that good a writer. But Im happy.
