This song is about what Marshall Rosenberg calls the game of giving or what he calls natural giving. The greatest source psychology of joy. It is a natural state that everyone has access to in every moment of interacting with others. Everyone knows that giving is the greatest feeling. If we stay in this state of mind, the giving game, we live in a sort of heaven on earth. Too often we forget to play the giving game, and we get caught up in the whos right game, where we are rewarded for being right, and thereby punish the other person for being wrong. I think we should develop a sort of linguistic script, a set of verbal and non verbal anchors, to acknowledge the playing of this game all day everyday. Like a smile. Or saying please and thank you. I guess this just gives that all so much more meaning.. Ill be thinking about it... Non Violent Communication. I believe I have found a new passion to obsess over. I will remember!
