I never had a good relationship with the woman who raised me. I had an idyllic relationship with my dad, but hes been gone almost thirteen years. So Ive always felt I was lacking a normal mother daughter relationship and since I lost my dad, Ive missed that dynamic so much. We just moved close enough to both of Mr. Bees parents that Ive seen them both today. In one day Ive felt the kind of happiness that only this kind of family can give you, when they love you and treat you as though they love you. His dad calls me baby girl and his mom is so wonderful that her well known and used nickname is Fairy Godmother. Really. I refer to her as my fairy godmother because she loves seeing me happy as much as Cinderellas fairy godmother loved seeing Cinderella happy. All in a home that is perfect for us. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and Ill see grandma, aunts and cousins galore. In about a half hour were having an aunt over for a visit. Shes always been a good friend of mine. Moving to this place is the best thing weve ever done. I truly hope youll be happily surrounded by family and friends tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving.
