I never knew it was so hard keeping a sweet pepper plant alive... So the first day, my office kitty munched on some leaves, so I made the plant a paper cone of shame. Then, last week, I look at the plant and the leaves are covered in aphids....on a house plant. I have no idea how they got up to the 5th floor to suck the sap from my plant leaves, but they are determined little buggers. So I have been spraying the leaves with water mixed with a teaspoon of dish soap to kill them, which seems to be working but every day there are new ones on the leaves. Not a lot, but still. Leave my damn plant alone!
