I never play games but I could not resist this one after seeing a class mates name come up in some posts. So here are 8 things you may or may not know about me..... 1. I was an avid nail biter for over 20 years and 10 years ago I quit biting them! It was the first time I acknowledged how prayer can make a difference in my life, even in the small things. To this day you will likely not see my nails unpolished or in pastel colors. I wear bold colors to bring recognition to my God showing that if He answers in the little things how much more is in store for me with big things! 2. I made my Mommy tuck in and kiss all my stuffed animals at bedtime when I was little. (Ironically, I have to do a similar ritual with my own daughter!) 3. Only God knows my natural hair color! lol But I will admit the hair dye isnt for a trendy new color anymore, I have grey and Danny is the one who first noticed it! 4. When me and Danny got married he held out the wrong hand and I put his wedding ring on the right finger but wrong hand! lol We never knew until someone told us later. Oh well, we are still growing old together so we done something right :) 5. Both my children were supposed to be January babies! Nathaniel would have been born on my Daddys birthday (Nov. 19th) but doctors tried to stop my labor. Nathaniel arrived the next day. (Nov. 20, 1992). Tayleigh after, a 10 day hospital stay, arrived on Christmas Eve 2004. 6. I used to read a lot when I was younger, especially Horror novels. I actually got Nathaniels name from a book by John Saul. (Tayleigh JoAnna is in memory of my late aunt Billie Jo Alesi and grandmother Anna Mae Parsons. We debated the a on the end of Anna intending on Ann but stuck with the a because my Daddys mom was Ora Murphy. 7. I done this truth game in Memorial of Travis Roy Hall....A classmate who committed suicide when he was 15 years old. 8. Final truth, one that not many know about....I have felt guilt all my life since the passing of Travis because I did not make an extra effort to reach out to him. I had thought of getting his phone number and calling him but the opportunity passed me by. I thought of him that very week but he didnt know it, I have lived with that for years. This very reason is what drives me to want to help others. This very reason God has used so many times to remind me that we should never take for granted tomorrow and be kind and compassionate to each other, love each other as Christ does. With that being said, I wont issue any numbers for anyone to play. The game is going around enough that many have already played anyway. But I would like to end saying that God is love and He loves each and everyone of you so much. Today is the day of salvation, may God bless you all :)
