I never post anything but positivity and happiness but today I have been hit super hard. I learned that one of my co-workers has passed away at the age of 44. This hits me super hard because this gentlemen was my mentor and took me under his wing. We shared a lot of the same interest such as sports, working out tattoos and music. Even though I knew him for such a short time I feel as if I have known him forever. He called me 3 days ago to tell me he had a heart attack and that I was the only one to know. We talked about getting out in the next few weeks to grab a beer. He was suppose to be ok. I am in complete disbelief right now. Life is so short everyone. Let this be a reminder to be kind to others and treat everyone with respect. RIP Alden Foster. Thank you very much for showing me the ropes with orthopedics and such. I will miss you my friend. May you ride that killer mountain bike in the clouds of heaven.
