I never say what I believe on here but before I go into the movie - TopicsExpress

I never say what I believe on here but before I go into the movie Noah, which I saw with my girl last night, I will say I believe in the literal creation story. I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Now with that being said let me get into this. Everyone is in an uproar about the film not being biblical. True some of the ideas are not true to the story. But it does have some basic ideas that does ring true. For example, when the angels were fighting to save Noah so he could get into the ark, the one angel was about to be killed so he looked up and asked the creator for forgiveness and he was forgiven and they were accepted back into heaven. Second in the end when Noah and the young lady were sitting down and she told Noah why God choose him, she said that God knew he would see the good then she asked them to help them be better. Are we not suppose to have those two ideas as Christians? Forgiveness and helping others be better is what this world is missing. God can still use what ever he want to reach people. I say see the film so that we can be ready to debate and give the truth to those who ask. Remember the Bible says, to study to show thyself approved unto God..... we are to be ready to give an answer of the hope that is in us. Allow God to speak to you. Now as a film maker I must say we should be allowed to express ourselves and our vision. God did give man free will and as artists we must be allowed to express that which resides deep within us but in a responsible way. I personally liked the film. In fact God spoke to me about some things In my own life through the film. In fact afterwards many people stood around discussing the film. Please open your hearts and dont be so quick to judge.
