I never think being professional (whatever that means) composer is something one should be encouraged, its really shitty life in so many levels. Its more like if you really have to compose all the time in your life (the urge, like an illness), you have no choice, but end up being one. At least thats how I see it. Definitely I will do my best my daughter to not being one. Though composing time to time just for fun is nice and healthy, everyone should try it, I think.
