I never thought I would say this but I defend Gary Oldman. Dont get me wrong! Some of his statements about Jews are kind of offensive. But I kinda understand why he defends the right for free speech when it comes to the publicized rants of Alec Baldwin & Mel Gibson. Yea , the bottom line is they are a bunch of rich, whiny douchebags! But even douchebags deserve a right to free speech just as equally as those have the right to condemn them. I think political correctness has gotten so out of hand that we forget that the same bill of rights those so called Liberals try to defend also protects the rights of those Right Wing Whack Jobs you attack. I think we need a little perspective . I take the advice from my non political grandmother who always said this. its not what folks say about me that counts, its how I respond!!
