I never understand this but lets say you come to Johannesburg - TopicsExpress

I never understand this but lets say you come to Johannesburg every two weeks for 3 days and you spend R3500 per night on accommodation alone thats R10500 per trip and R21000 per month on the two trips to Johannesburg. That R21000 is roughly the monthly installment of a R2 million home. Why not invest in house in Johannesburg as opposed to staying at these fancy hotels? In the event that your itentary plans change you could always rent the house our and have other source of income. You could also sell the house and buy small town houses in places like Midrand and make rental income from that. Sadly you cannot control how people spend their income that they have worked hard for. I am not in their financial position but if I was I would rather invest in property than to allows book a room at hotel if I visit a place frequently.
