I never understood people with convictions so strong that they are completely blind and deaf to anything that conflicts with them. I may feel a certain way about something, but that doesnt mean I wont give someone who feels differently a chance to plead their case, and then stew on what they have to say. Its a good to hear different peoples views, it makes you reflect upon your own. Its good to learn new ways of thinking. If youre bent on one way of thinking and think thats the only way of thinking, youre sheltering yourself from the world.
