I normally do not share DRAMA like this but could use some HELP!!_ (warning Drama- LOL) ___ Ok..... I hired another band to play for me along time ago (it was my husbands party so I could not cancel the gig) the person in-charge of the band I hired refused to do this gig unless I advertised their name (Which I got in a little trouble for) I learned some of their songs- they learned some of mine and I told them set 4 do one of there sets how they would without teaming up. I made sure each of their lead vocalist did lead parts. Come set 4 they auditioned a player who played for me (a gig Im paying them for and they are auditioning my players?) SHE TELLS ME TO MY FACE that she auditioned my player (at a later date denies this-) (and she told me two of my players played for her and she had not even talked it over with the 2nd player.) When we discussed paying everyone for the gig she suggested (***TO make it easy on me***) I should have the business write the check to her and she would give me my share cash and take care of her own band (which I thought she was being SO NICE and I agreed to that). After I realized that she had infact auditioned one of my players at a gig I payed her to play I sent her a message telling her I thought it was intentionally hurtful and unprofessional that she should have done this on her own time at her own place and not a gig I payed her to play- She informed me that the check came in her name so it was HER gig..... BLALALLALA to sum it up- I AVOID THIS WOMEN like the plaque now- I get this message from her just yesterday saying she hopes that some day we can let past differences go and be able to support each other WHAT THE HECK?! AM I missing something- How do I nicely tell this person that I avoid her because I think it showed her personality and its not about the event??? - As the saying goes I think she is half coyote and half snake! Im not out to get her but I would like her to forget me! LOL what does past differences mean suggestions??
