I noted that many people we told about getting a manual shift, rear wheel drive car think that they are unsafe to drive in the winter. In my 57 years as a licensed driver ( plus 4 years that I was not of age to drive) I have driven vehicles of all kinds, sizes and shapes. REAR WHEEL drive were the only thing available for many years and over this time I was involved in one bad accident, where another guy was driving and flipped my car multiple times BUT it wasnt from a standard shift or rear wheel drive..it was poor driving training and lack of experience that got him into trouble.. Im not bragging, I just know how to drive...:)
