I notice one reviewer stated What a shame that yall are not open during Spring Break 2014. Sorry you could not take your kids to visit our facility, but at the moment the site is an active and potentially dangerous construction area and certainly one that is not open to the public. Our facility has been closed for two years for extensive remodelling and rebuilding. We should be open to the public in approximately six to eight weeks. By then we should have completed construction on the Scobee Planetarium, the Observatory, and the new facility. The Challenger Learning Center equipment arrives in August, with missions slated to fly in early fall, 2014.
