I noticed some of the gang has been sharing this crazy track on FB so I thought I would post it. This is a little tail about a nice middle class white guy that we knew from Orange Country California. He had all the comforts of a upper middle class family and a big track home BUT he thought he was a street thug. The song was written by me along with Drummer Matt Sherrod ( Beck, Crowded House) and Bass player Juan Alderetti ( The Mars Volta, Vato Negra). My IMFs crime partner and singer to the super stars Bernard Fowler is singing the fat choruses. The only bummer for me about this track from 2003 is the awesome sound of my 65 Strat ripping the solos...see a LAME San Diego tech was working for me and the reason he is so lame is because I trusted the cat and he replayed me by stealing my 65 Strat as well as a Les Paul that Professional Surfer and pal Brad Gerlack gave me...he pawned them and that was that...I had Insurence on the guitars but as anyone knows you cant play money....that 65 Strat was a magic one that I miss every time I go into a recording studio.
