I now agree he was right.The village in me cant be helped.From Kikuyu i decided to pass via Wangige Market.Being a market day, there was a vicious traffic snarl up.The Nairobi in me (read 15 years living in the city) reminded me there was an alternative route via Lower Kabete, Kitsuru, Thigiri Road and finally Village Market. Yes i got into that leafy suburb but ole wangu i missed two turns or say seven turns..One hour later i was still driving around that place that reminded me of Kakamega Forest,trying to get my way out of that place.I asked for directions but in vain.At long last i found myself at an estate called New Kitsuru.A petrol attendant gave me directions after fuelling but still i could not get my way out of that forest that they call Kitsuru.At long last a guy on a motorbike gave the final directions..I followed his instructions...To make a Long story of the village in me short, i finally realized where i was when i found myself at Gachie Shopping Centre! Happily i drove home!
