I observed and listened to a man from africa debate with a woman - TopicsExpress

I observed and listened to a man from africa debate with a woman from ethiopia. it all started out as a polite conversation. the african male was accompanied by his wife, who sat in her place, as they call it. then the man from africa changed his tone and posture towards the ethiopian, as the debate turned personal, into a cultural conflict. AHHHHHH colonization at work. the wife sat quietly in all the heat, as if she would be stepping out of line, to calm down her man. SOOOO, since no one was attempting to deescalate the tension, I raised my arm with eye contact and a two finger gesture, and said, "bro, come lets talk, you need it." he came over and had a seat, and told the story of the situation. in his mind, the ethiopians are the sell outs. he also felt that africa should/could be united as america is. But as I sat there listening, keeping him occupied instead of ruining his evening, in anger or jail. It dawned on me again as a confirmation. Africans indeed pretend to have a superiority complex, because of a admiration for their oppressor. Tis why the GHETTOS OF NORTH AMERICA IS MY WOMB, My place away from the petty and the ignorant. Places that the african or ethiopian will not go for real true insight and cultural experience. there is no american DREAM. V.O.R.
