I occasionally stray into the sphere of political discourse, so here are the Randy Hill supported candidates 2014 Version. First, Hot Springs High School Board. As you know, my wife is on this board, and they do more work than anyone could ever appreciate. Mrs Eubade and Reese are up for re-election and I strongly urge you to please come out and vote for both of these great women. They are impassioned, informed, and always do whats best for our students, not what is best for an agenda. And PLEASE get out and vote for this…early voting is currently underway! Drake for Governor of Arkansas is my choice for governor. You are NOT wasting a vote going outside party lines. As repugnant as the possibility of Asa Hutchison is for governor, it is time to vote the best candidate, something I intend to do. For the Senate, Mark Pryor is my choice. Capt Cotton has more interest in special interest than for the good of Arkansas. Name one significant piece of legislation he has supported that helped Arkansas and did NOT support the Koch agenda. For judge, I am voting for Wade Naramore. He has the proper temperament and understands the needs of our community, not just the needs of the TEA party. For sherif, my vote goes to Mike McCormick For mayor, of course my love for the job Ruth Carney has done cant be denied, but Im casting my vote for Pat McCabe. We need a mayor that gets it and wont embarrass us in front of the media and can promote all that is great about Hot Springs. For the US House, Im voting for DeWitt. And finally, for those who think I wont cross party lines, Sen Sample is my choice for the state Senate. He has done great things for downtown and bucked his own party when necessary. There you have it. Im sure many wont agree, but I have done my own research, not chosen a single candidate based on a tv ad, and pray to God this election will be over soon!
