I often feel that I need to be doing a lot more. But this morning I decided to take a minute & count my blessings. I am really grateful for every opportunity, every open door, every new friend, every moment of learning and of joy. Here some highlights of my 2013 thus far: My art pieces made it to Canada! Toronto Blanche Nui program-Mixed Media/Collage show. Yeeepie! My work @ Artisan Series- emerging artists program Bombay program. I was really honored to participate in The Creative Capital development program for emerging artists/ Broward County. (24 selected artists) Accepted for participation in Golden products program for artists (starting 2014) you have no idea how much I insisted for this one! I use many of their products for my art pieces. So this one is great for me. Did a few art shows. The public doesnt know but art shows are a lot of work. I admit I get tired of it, but I also admit these can be a lot of fun! ;-) Started my abstract series :-) Sold a few pieces :-) thank you art buyers! I love YOU! Won my first licensing image contract (Signed in 2012, executed this year) Painted my first mural on a piano! That was a big stretch for me. I enjoyed it, but mmm ...Ill never do that again! Made many new friends:-) Fell in love:-)... a few times! LOL For work & for fun explored many new cities & states of our amazing country, including Arizona. Loved Phoenix! Started working with wine & spirits distribution co. CHEERS to that! Moved! Same county, different area, now instead of seabirds I talk to lake swimming & porch pooping ducks! LOL. Life is good:-) I am really grateful for every moment. For every gift of a day. I know you have your own list of great moments. Enjoy your blessings! Namaste.
