I often find myself thankful that todays were not treated like vietnam and vietnam era vets. These bothers and sisters many of whom were draftees who obeyed the law. We were called baby Killers , losers and represent the largest group of veterans that were homeless and incarcerated. In a firefight on a Monday. And at your mothers table on Friday and expected to be normal. We had to raise for our owm memorial , and fight the Government for treatment from agent orange. We had to organize our own welcome home. BUT everytime I see a fly over andhear the nation anthemn, and when God Bless America I have to fight back tears. My service is the best memory i have ever had. And would glaly go back and do it again. RIP to the Brothers and Sisters who did not make it home. Aslow salute to all. In all this time and space. God knew exactly where you wanted to be placed. Vetrans Day is to honer those who are serving and those who have served To this old saying I am true ... If you cut me i bleed red, white and Blue. AIRBORNE!!!!!!!!!
