I often find the insistence of the adherents of the faiths - TopicsExpress

I often find the insistence of the adherents of the faiths pioneered by Muhammad (SAW), Jesus son of Mary (AS), Buddha, Confucius, & Guru Nanak to name a few, on dwelling on minute inconsistencies within the teachings of their pioneers, whilst completely dismissing the stark similarities quite puzzling. Having accumulated a humble knowledge base of the aforementioned pioneers and their respective causes, I have concluded that while their respective messages, which bear remarkable resemblance to each other, have been intentionally monopolized by their adherents to favor one faith over the other, the pioneers themselves share one similarity amongst themselves. The similarity of unshakable conviction. These individuals were so absolutely convinced of the truth of their mission that there was nothing shy of death that could stop them. THAT is what its like to truly be free, and enjoy the kind of freedom that most civilizations and individuals spend their entire tenures in the pursuit of. Unfortunately, most adherents have deliberately misinterpreted the unfaltering conviction exuded by their respective teachers to equate to showing unfaltering intolerance to any idea that does not entirely conform to the initial teachings of any given pioneer. This has led to the bloody wars that have sadly characterized the histories of major world faiths, making harmonious coexistence, the initial purpose of the faiths, a figment of our imagination. Moral of my observation: Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish -Steve Jobs. The human mind is not designed to settle or compromise. It is exactly this unrelenting thirst for the truth that keeps us up at night, and wakes us up in the morning. The successful ones are those who channel this thirst to first enlighten themselves with knowledge, then others with tolerance, and the finally unsuccessful ones with mercy.
