I often forget the things that are steadfast and there day in and day out. I rely on them, look forward to seeing them and forget to be thankful for their ongoing role in my universe. My parents and sister stand pretty tall in this category. Mom just landed in Istanbul today. She said something about joining the good fight. Lol kidding. Wrong side of Turkey. My dad I touched base with tonight and promised not to watch the Os game for fear I was bad luck. My sister is off conquering the art world and theres an odd calm to our lack of conversations. Shell show up by xmas. But another one I forget is Lad. I feed him many times during the week and he waits as I focus on the young ones. Sunday I gave him a long overdue jump school and he had this look of finally! when I schooled him over some jumps. Euphoria isnt too strong a word to describe the reward of giving back to someone who appreciates you enough to want to be with you. So remember to stop and say thanks as lifes scenery is often changing.
