I often hear about cheap Japanese screws holding various parts together. So I wanted to post these two pictures. One shows the damaged top of the screw and the second shows how rusty it was. I pulled this out of an 1971 SL100 front fender. It probably had not moved since put together. I removed it using a Vessel JIS screw driver. The point? The right tool makes a job MUCH easier and doesnt damage the hardware.
