I often hear people say that if God saves and includes those who have yet to choose Him, that its tantamount to rape, as it would be a violation of human free will. I would hope that the absurdity of this notion would be obvious to all, but, unfortunately, it isnt. Were your child to run toward a busy highway, would it be rape for you to grab their hand and pull them to safety? Would you not be violating your childs free will? Of course you would! Yet, would it constitute as a crime, or reflect negatively upon your character? No. It would show you to be a loving parent, who didnt allow their childs inability to choose wisely determine their level of safety. Your violation of your childs will, in this matter, would actually reflect positively upon you as a parent, and would reveal your love for your child. To compare an act of compassion on Gods part to rape is a despicable and incorrect comparison. Gods wrapping up of all of humanity in the incarnation of His Son is the greatest act of love ever revealed to man.
