I often hear the scripture faith without works is dead taken out of context. The majority of the time its used against someone by another person who feels they are putting forth a lackluster effort in some regard to employment in a traditional sense. The scripture is actually referencing Christians who fail to act toward those in need as to say how can you claim to be a Christian but wont provide help and how can you say you love GOD but not have faith enough in HIM to make HIM your source and the head of your life; James 2:15, 16 If you know someone who doesnt have any clothes or food, you shouldnt just say, “I hope all goes well for you. I hope you will be warm and have plenty to eat.” What good is it to say this, unless you do something to help? James 2:17 Faith that doesnt lead us to do good deeds is all alone and dead! James 2:21, 22 Well, our ancestor Abraham pleased GOD by putting his son Isaac on the altar to sacrifice him. Now you see how Abrahams faith and deeds worked together. He proved that his faith was real by what he did. So the next time someone tries to shame and pressure you out of GODs will and get you back in the Matrix you just hold on to what GOD told you to do in spite of what it may look like to them. Be encouraged!
