I often talk to my students, who worry about their future, who worry about how one can build security..a ceiling that wont fall on ones head, walls that will protect, a floor that wont collapse from under ones feet..I say, like Buchner and Artaud and others way smarter than I..this is not possible. All such attempts historically fail. One has to build security inside ones self, a core of strength, a deep sense of balance, like a surfer, a sensitivity and ability to adjust to every minute change of wind and wave..then one can perhaps navigate even a tsunami a bit before wiping out... Perhaps this theory will be tested..because I sure see something cresting rolling in.
