I often wish I had taken classes in debating, I am sure it would help me here. But in my uneducated mind , I know of a technique to tear down the arguement of the other side, you take their position , then take it even further in that direction until you reach a position that is so absurdly over the edge that anyone can see the flaws in it. Is that what Obama is doing in Syria, taking the U.S. power projected in the middle east to the point of involvement in civil wars to prove the point that we should abandon the ways of Bush and the neocons ? Ok, we get the message, lets leave them alone in the middle east. If you believe some of what you read and see , out military is getting wore down by war in the middle east and does NOT want to become involved in a civil war in Syria. just the opinion of Rick Maize .
