I on behalf of the Villages of Daporijo Township Areas Welfare Association(VDTAWA) would like to appealed to the Urban Development Department to take care of the Burial / cremation ground at polo colony. As you seen in the pictures the boundary walls and the naked roof of the house of that place. Day by day the people who are residing near the burial ground are encroaching the land.so its a serious matter which the concern authority should take some urgent steps to stopped for further encroachment,This is the only a lone burial ground in the district, where our non tribal friends and interior people of the dist can use for bury of dead body so we should preserved it, Moreover the Central Govt has spend the crores of money to developed this burial ground.But some few vested interest people are trying to occupy this land, whereas this particular land is freely donated to the Government by the people of Dulom & Yekar for common uses. If the Govt failed to preserve and protect it, than definitely We the VDTAWA will be reclaimed it again from the Govt.
