I once had a friend, she was around 90 years old at the time when she shared with me, When I began to walk with a cane, I saw how truly loving people were. They opened doors, wanted to carry my things for me, offered me their arm on the stair. That cane opened her eyes to everyday acts of love. Let these acts be your daily meditation, your quiet prayers. Bringing joy to one heart with love is better than one thousand repetitive prayer recitings. Sufi wisdom. So true.
