I once heard a story about a woman who sawed the end of her ham off before cooking it. Her husband asked, Why do you do that? The woman replied My mother did it. So he asked her mother why she cut the end of the ham off. She said My mother did it. Then he asked grandma and she said My pan was too short. For generations they followed a tradition and had no clue why they were doing it. Anybody can do what everybody else is doing; but it takes intestinal fortitude to be a trendsetter. Ask yourself today why you do some of the stuff you do. Does what you are doing advance you toward your goals in life? If not, drop it! Dare to be a Daniel! Dare to stand alone! Dare to break the trend and be different! Those who made history in this world were thought to be crazy at the time; but the world is better today because they did something different. Got a dream?
