I once met a woman who told me that she cooks her Thanksgiving dinner in total silence. She makes it a meditation. Have you ever done such a thing? On Sunday I cooked the whole feast for my sons visit, and did (intermittently, lol!) hold thoughts of gratitude for these people I love so much (for whom I was cooking) as I peeled and chopped, etc. -- and I will say, it was one of the yummiest spreads ever.
