I only ever fished for jungle perch once and I know how spooky they can be. When you find bass in clear shallow water they act like jungle perch there so spooky its almost impossible to catch more than one in any spot because the rest get spooked shut down and hide under the weed. To find these fish long casts with the Z-STICK from Storm, the distance is the key, these fish will shoot out and hit a big lure as long as they dont sense your there. Every time I drew a fish up I would move on then on the way back I just flicked the little Gomoku Popper into those spots making sure my shadow was on the opposite bank and the bass came out of no were and smashed it. This was not an active bite the deepest the water was in about 100 metre stretch was just over a foot and very clear all the fish drew from trickery.
